Travis Arthur is a Post Graduate Sports Physiotherapist who completed his Under Graduate Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University Western Australia, and his Post Graduate Certificate and Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at Latrobe University.
Travis has worked internationally in the UK at a number of specialist clinics including Reebok Sports Institute in London, and Crystal Palace Sports Centre. Travis has expertise in a wide variety of sporting and musculoskeletal injuries, with a particular interest in tendon pathology. He has had the opportunity to work alongside specialists in tendinopathy management in London.
Travis also has a strong interest in CrossFit and Track & Field Athletics, with particular interest in shoulder and knee injuries including rehabilitation post surgery, as well as performance rehabilitation. Travis also works as head Physiotherapy Coordinator for Athletics at the Western Australian Institute of Sport, and as a consultant and travelling physiotherapist for the Australian Athletics Track and Field Team in their lead up to the World Championships, Olympics and Commonwealth Games. Travis also teaches part-time at Curtin University in both the undergraduate and masters of physiotherapy degrees.
Travis is skilled in the use of diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging, to aid in visualisation of injured tissue, to enable correlation of clinical examination with imaging to make an accurate diagnosis within the clinic visit.
