Ricky is an APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist who completed a Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy and a Masters of Clinical Physiotherapy at Curtin University. He is experienced in the management of musculoskeletal pain both in a private practice setting, as well as on the sports field working as a Physiotherapist for numerous National Premier League soccer teams.
Ricky is passionate about helping people who are experiencing pain return to their usual function. He has a special interest in treating persistent pain conditions, including back, neck and shoulder pain, osteoarthritis, and tendon conditions. He takes the time to delve deeper into a person’s story to help identify the relevant contributing factors that research has shown can influence pain. This allows him to develop a personalised treatment plan that aims to explain the cause of the pain and work with you to set and achieve your goals.
Ricky has a keen interest in the importance of physical activity, sleep, and a healthy work-life balance in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. In his spare time enjoys keeping active, spending time with friends and family, and coaching his community soccer club.
