Nardia Klem is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist and academic. She completed her undergraduate studies in Physiotherapy in 2015, graduating with first-class honours, and went on to attain a PhD focusing on total knee replacement outcomes. Nardia furthered her expertise by completing a Clinical Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, earning awards for the highest marks in both Advanced Management of Pain Disorders and Advanced Musculoskeletal Clinical Competencies.
Dividing her time between her academic role at Curtin University as a Senior Lecturer and Research Fellow, and her clinical practice at BodyLogic Physiotherapy, Nardia brings an evidence-based approach to patient care. Her research specialties include low back pain management and the impact of pain and mental health on young people (16-24), which informs her clinical practice and her holistic treatment approach.
While Nardia enjoys treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, she has a special interest in back, knee, and ankle pain, as well as chronic pain management. She adopts a whole-person approach to physiotherapy, prioritising the values and needs of each patient. Nardia is passionate about helping people return to the activities they love, offering tailored, compassionate care to support their recovery and long-term wellbeing.
Outside of work, Nardia stays active through gym workouts, swimming, and playing hockey. She also enjoys spending quality time with her partner and their energetic kelpie, Atlas.
