Andy completed his Physiotherapy degree at Trinity College Dublin in 2013. He made the move to Perth in 2017 and completed a Masters in Clinical Physiotherapy (musculoskeletal major) in 2021. During this Masters course Andy was involved in research examining the role of patient and clinician beliefs in the management of Knee Osteoarthritis.
Andy has worked in a variety of different setting across his career so far. This includes roles in various sporting codes and also in Occupational Health, providing evidence-based early intervention physiotherapy to assist injured workers in getting back to normal as soon as possible.
Living with pain and injury can be difficult and Andy takes time with each patient to understand their individual circumstances, the factors influencing their pain and the goals they would like to achieve. This forms the basis for a collaborative, person-centred treatment plan informed by the most up to date research.
