Treatment of Prolapse
Our physiotherapists at Body Logic Physiotherapy play an important role in the treatment of prolapse, including identifying the key factors linked to your symptoms.
There is strong evidence that physiotherapy management that includes pelvic floor muscle training, bladder or bowel retraining and addressing lifestyle factors such as regular physical activity, sleep, diet and stress management is effective. A progressive exercise program and self-management plan is the key to controlling your symptoms in the long run. We also work with your doctor if additional care is needed.
