Meet the Shenton Park Team
When you visit us in Shenton Park you will be gaining access to a clinic specialising in diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. Our services are suitable for all ages and we can assist with muscle, joint, and nerve issues.
One of the two directors of the Shenton Park brand is Clinical Professor Peter O’Sullivan. He is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2005) and Professor of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Curtin University. Peter is internationally recognised for his leading clinical research into the diagnosis and treatment of persistent and disabling pain problems. He has published over 250 research papers with his team.
The other clinical director is Dr JP Caneiro, who is a Specialist Sports Physiotherapist (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2013), Pain Physiotherapist and Post-Doctoral fellow at Curtin University. JP is internationally recognised for his leading clinical research into the diagnosis and treatment of persistent pain problems and osteoarthritis. JP is an active member of the International Association for the Study of pain (IASP); he has published several research papers and presented his work internationally.
Peter and JP are supported by Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Liz Pyne (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2007) and the other senior Physiotherapists at the Shenton Park clinic. The care provided is at the cutting edge of research into pain disorders.
